Message from Finder

Was fishing at the Bear Creek reservoir public fishing area and I saw her in the woods. Was nervous at first wouldn't let me approach but I coaxed her over with some hotdog meat. I fed her some canned tuna and corn and gave her some fresh water. Very sweet dog. Liked pets and snuggled next to me while I was fishing. No collar, lots of fleas and ticks. Probably about 8 months old I called Jackson and then athens-clarke animal control but neither picked up or responded to my voicemail

You should take her to the shelter of whichever county she was found in ACCAS can’t take her if she was found in Jackson. You could also check her for a microchip (or maybe you already did?). Any vet will have a scanner, and there are also some public ones at Memorial Park, the park on Athens east side and one outside ACCAS.

Shared. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS. Most of those places are closed until Tuesday. Please contain it. Dawn dishwasher detergent will fleas. Be careful with eyes. Look for lost dog posters n Check all websites
