🐾I NEED HELP UNDERSTANDING THE PROCESS OF GETTING MY DOG BACK FROM FOSTER CARE 🐾 I made a previous post because I genuinely believed I was making progress toward finding out where my dog, Yuki, is and what I needed to do to bring her home. Unfortunately, I now feel like I'm being shut out of the process. I'm being told that I should take my post down because it is causing concern and resentment, and that speaking publicly about my situation could make getting Yuki back more difficult—or possibly impossible. I want to be clear: I am not trying to attack, harass, or blame anyone. I am simply trying to find my dog and understand what happened. What I don't understand is: • What organization Yuki was placed with • Who authorized her placement • Under what circumstances she was placed into care • Who I can speak to directly about her case • What the actual reunification process is I never gave permission for Yuki to be surrendered, fostered, or permanently rehomed. Learning that she was placed into care without my knowledge has been devastating. She's not just a dog to me. She's my family. She's my best friend. Anyone who has ever loved an animal understands that feeling. I will not apologize for doing everything I can to find answers and bring her home. At this point, I'm not looking for opinions about my situation. I'm looking for information from people who have experience with: 🐾 Getting a dog back from foster care 🐾 Alberta rescues and humane societies 🐾 Animal welfare cases 🐾 Home inspections and reunification requirements 🐾 Pet ownership disputes 🐾 What rights owners have to obtain information about their pets If you've been through something similar or know how this process works, please reach out privately. This is one of the hardest things I've ever gone through, and right now I feel completely lost. I'm just trying to find my girl and understand what I need to do to get her back. ❤️🐾 Yuki, wherever you are, I'm still fighting for you. 🐾❤️

You need to talk to the people you gave her your and find out what rescue she went to. Call police. Unfortunately it sounds like your dog was surrendered on your behalf. If a bylaw officer did it, it would have been within legal rights for the to place and at that point you will not be eligible just to get your dog back. You will need to apply for adoption if you find her
