Gill's Owner Says

Gill has been found and is safely back with us! After 3 very long days of searching, posting flyers, checking shelters, and walking around the apmt complex day and night, one of our friends finally heard Gill meow back when calling his name and shaking his treat container. He was hiding nearby the whole time. We are beyond grateful to everyone who shared our posts, kept an eye out, offered advice, checked cameras, and sent kind messages and prayers. Your support gave us hope and helped bring our boy home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Gill is safe, healthy, and back where he belongs. ❤️

Janice Bradshaw Thanks so much for the advice; honestly, we’ve tried everything else, so now the only thing left is to check the drains in the apartment complex. I really hope this works. 😞

Have you posted on Neighbors by Ring app asking people to check their cameras? You dont have to have Ring. Download Neighbors App to get real-time crime and safety alerts from your neighbors and public safety agencies. Crack your garage a slight bit and will likely try to come home early morning when its quiet. Informative video on how to find your missing cat. https://www.facebook.com/374756619256467/posts/2701302119935227/

So sorry kitty is missing. My indoor only cat got out during construction and was missing for a week. Post on Next Door. If chipped, report missing to the chip company and ensure they have up to date contact info for you. File a missing report with the shelter online. I read indoor cats usually only stray 5-10 houses so I went door to door in a radius around my house and asked neighbors if I could search their backyards and under sheds. I also handed them a flyer. I walked around at night calling my cat and shining a flashlight in bushes to try to spot eyes. I cracked my garage slightly and put a lot of dirty laundry i.e. dirty sheets and blankets which helps with a scent trail. A neighbor spotted my cat in the storm drain closest to my house. I never thought to look there. It took 3 days after knowing she was in there until she came out. I do not have Ring, so I bought cheap motion sensor cameras and set them up at both doors that sent motion alerts to my phone.Good tips here: www.catsinthebag.org Paws crossed you are reunited soon.

We have been searching for him continuously for the past two days without success; we are very worried about our baby, so we hope everyone can keep an eye out.
