Please file a lost cat report with the Chesapeake animal shelter. If the cat is chipped to make sure the registry has your current contact information. Check the shelter in Chesapeake to see if your cat has been brought in. Tonight after 10 PM, go out of your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard calling your name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Use your flashlight to look in the bushes to see if you see your cat hiding. Print flyers with your cat picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors. Ask the neighbors if they’ve been in their shed garage or outbuilding since your cats’s been missing. Cats go in those places to hide and then when the door is closed, they can’t get out. You cannot hear a cat crying to get out of an outbuilding unless you’re standing right next to it. Check under porches decks any houses with an open crawlspace.
