God bless you for taking this cat inside because the coyotes are everywhere eating cats right now. You can take it to any Petsmart and Banfield in the back will check for free for a microchip. If you can, please do this today. Please call the Irvine animal shelter and describe this cat and fax a picture over there. Owners often call shelters when they lose their cats. Please keep checking Pawboost to see if somebody has posted this cat lost. Also please post on nextdoor.com and all lost pet sites. Not everybody is on Facebook. You could knock on your neighbors doors and ask if anybody knows who’s cat this is describe it show them a picture. Sometimes the neighbors know whose cats belong to who. If you happen to find the owner, tell them absolutely do not let that cat outside. It will be eaten. God bless you again and thank you for saving this Cats’s life.

Owners sometimes leave cats when they move. I would take him to Irvine Animal Care Center.

If nobody responds to claim the cat I would take it to the Irvine Animal Shelter to see if it has a chip if not have them take it and put up for adoption. Or someone can check the found department and see if the cat is there and claim it. Irvine shelter will find the owner because it found an owner for two that I found a few weeks ago
