Nia is an indoor cat. We were moving today with doors and garage open. Every time we checked on her she was in her crate. She was in there as she was scared with all the people in and out of our hse. Everyone says they kept seeing her in her crate every time we checked on her. We went to lunch and just me and my wife returned and we cannot find her anywhere. The hse is empty so there is no where she can hide. Aka she has to have gone outside.

Next time you’re gonna have your doors and windows open, put her in the crate and then in the bathroom. So if she gets out of her crate, she’s contained. Please file a missing cat report with an Norfolk animal care center. If she is chipped to make sure that her chip registry has your current contact information Visit the shelter to see if has been brought. Prep flyers with your cat picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors asking them to call you if they see your cat. I asked him if they’ve been in their shed outbuilding or garage since your cat has been missing. Tonight after 10 PM go out on your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard calling your cats name is shaking the kitty treats bag, and use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if your cat is hiding. Indoor cats normally don’t run more than 5 to 7 homes from their own.
