Note from finder: While he was surrendered to the Asheville Humane Society, the owner answered their call based on the microchip file and confirmed it was their dog. I cannot confirm whether they picked up the dog. Owner did not respond to initial requests sent by us through the microchip company. Owners home is approximately 5-miles from our home.

Update: He is microchipped. Name is Yodeler. 10 years old. Owner identified as “Fernando S.” on the microchip site. I initiated the contact process through the microchip site this morning, but I have not been contacted. I do not have a great way to keep him contained and separated from my dogs, so will need to find a temporary home or take him to the Humane Society. Please message me with questions or if you’re able to assist in getting him home.
