Description

Small tortoiseshell cat, mostly black. Left ear is tipped (missing the tip). Short legs and small build. Extremely timid. Often crouches low to the ground when moving with her tail tugged behind her.

Message from Owner

We are not sure whether Ember is still hiding inside our hse or unexpectedly got outside. She was last seen inside our home around 4:00 a.m. Monday. There is a possibility she slipped out around noon Monday when the garage door was open while groceries were being unloaded. Ember is a former TNR rescue and is extremely shy. She will hide rather than approach people. Please do not chase her. If you see her, please contact me immediately with the location.

Melody Gonzalez Yes, please. Any sighting of her, tell me. Ember is an awkward cat. She is super shy, fearful, and extremely timid. She walks/runs with a crouch and her tail tugged behind her. Please do not chase her, but note where you saw her, where you ran to, and what time it was. That would be a huge help and so much appreciated.

Melody GonzalezIn the house, to a degree. Out there, I highly doubt it. She is a super scared and timid cat. It took us 3.5 months to get her to come out of her hiding place in the garage every now and then. But she did turn into a (fearful) lab cat eventually.

Kimberly Player I will try going outside and calling for her at night. That's a good idea. We already checked the storm drain and manhole close to our house and did a walk around and all.
