Black kitty whos back claws show, his ear has a healed scar on it and his meow sounds raspy

Hi. Its been maybe two or three months since he went missing but recently, we found his collar over past October cove near east 1200. Ive been told its probably a long shot that hes alive because of Hawks, Owls, and Rattlesnakes in that area but if you live in that area and have seen a black kitty with a raspy meow or just found a cat, dead or alive, please let me know. We just want to know what happened to him even if its not the outcome we'd like. We miss him so much and would like to have some closure if he really is gone from this world.
