Helen Vrabec-Conley “Sunshine” is currently in the Critter Nation cage we use for kitten fostering, something our older cats don’t seem to mind as much. Unfortunately, we have an intake 7 week old kitten in rough shape coming next week. All of our cats are fixed, but three are fragile. One has a very high grade heart murmur, one is 16 years old, and the other has an autoimmune disease, so we try to keep their stress levels low to prevent flare ups and illness. This next foster was an emergency favor, and will be our last for a while. Our goal is to reunite “Sunshine” with his family, but if that can’t happen, we’re going to try and find a rescue or a very good home for him. So yes, we will love any help if it comes to that! He is the sweetest baby. 🥰🥹

Rebekah Barkhauer it's wonderful that you have done what you have done. You've taken him in and you've given him protection. It's just very odd that he was in the truth cuz caps normally no climb trees unless they are being chased or threatened things thrown at them etc anyway. Do you not have a basement you could put him in or a spare bedroom? It's important to keep your cats calm or your cats fixed? If not that could be why they're acting the way they are Thank you so much for taking care of him when the time comes that you're ready to put him out there for adoption I can share it to a couple of my rescue friends that have pages and they can share it get more recognition Thank you for letting me know

Helen Vrabec-Conley The neighbor dogs scared him, but my spouse is a cat whisperer and got him out of the tree so easily, you’d think it was magic. 🥰 Breakaway collars aren’t usually a problem, but this little guy was not wearing a breakaway collar, so it could have been a health hazard. It is off of him while he’s crated, and he has calmed down a lot from that initial photo. Wants all the headlovings! His nickname is Sunshine right now, and if he doesn’t find his family, we’ll be looking for a forever home for him. We have two special needs cats who aren’t taking a strange, adult male in the house very well, so we aren’t in a place to hold him long term or keep him.
