.Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . You can even ask your local animal shelter to rent out safe trap and monitor it.. Yes they are usually close by hiding if they are indoor escaped cats. Good advice, glad you found her.

Thanks Janet - SHE’S HOME! We found her in our neighbour’s backyard - literally just one house away, across the street! The posters worked! Thank you for reassuring me that she was probably still nearby. You were right!

Sharing watch tall trees as cats can go up but sometimes need help getting down and can stay treed for days especially when scared put some unwashed clothes and cat bed outside as the familiar smell might help lure kitty back home leave a door or window open for kitty to get back into the home ask neighbours to check garages and sheds and security cameras go out late at night when it's quiet calling kitty softly and bring fav bag of treats to shake inform local vets and rescue shelters of kitty missing don't put cat litter outside as it might attract predators like coyotes and raccoons

Many indoor cats return when it's quiet and dark usually between 9:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. so if it is possible, leave the door/window (or garage) open slightly for her to return. If you have any other pets secure them in a room for the night. This works well for these indoor cats that get out. Put out some worn clothing with your scent and keep calling for her frequently as she should hear your voice. Check your yard and ask your neighbor if you can check their yards/patios/bushes thoroughly with a good flashlight. Put up lots of posters with a large colored picture of her around your area. You can also purchase a humane trap at Rona, Canadian tire or on Marketplace. This method works well for these shy indoor cats that get out. Line the bottom of the trap with newspaper and cover the sides and top with a sheet...don't cover the back. You would have to Google how to set it up properly to trap a cat for best results.
