Make sure you get flyers out right away make posters, put one in your yard so if someone finds it, they’ll know where to go if they’re looking, make a poster, tape it to your side window of your car even if it’s on the back or both sides with your information so if someone sees it while you’re driving around stopping that stop sign, red light even going to the store or gas someone may recognize it if this a tracker in your area contact them right away, but do your research. There’s too many scammers out there never give money upfront no matter what someone says that they found your dog we would like to reward always get proof first good luck. I hope you find your fur baby. I have three Chihuahuas myself and then my babies and when you do find it or when it returned back home, put two bells on his collar that’s what I do with mine and I can hear it everywhere. Also Check ditches and drains under the porch under sheds. I remember in our state town. There was a pug fell into the drain still alive after three days, but always look there as well. I pray that nothing got a hold of it. A while animal I had a hawk almost grabbed mine.

Check DAS website often for your dog. Put up very large neon corrugated signs. Alert neighbors, knock on doors and ask them to check security cameras. Be sure to leave your contact information. Post and check on craigslist, nextdoor app, neighbors ring app and all possible Facebook sites. If chipped report lost to chip company. Be sure to check heavy brush areas and bodies of water too
