Message from Owner

Escanor is a very active and affectionate cat, we adopted him and his sister since they were 5 weeks old, he likes to go hunting around the neighborhood but he always comes back home and sleep inside our home every night. Escanor is very spoiled by the whole family, we are worried and his sister is missing her big brother already. Please if you see him, help him return home.

I hope he’s found. I left my door open, including my screen door for three days, and my cat finally walked back in and woke me up in the middle of the night.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Try putting something of yours outdoors, it might help your cat find their way home. A blanket, or an article of clothing. Do not put a litter box outdoors it can attract predators. Try going out after dark with a flashlight and a bag of treats. More than likely, the cat is scared and afraid to come out. Good luck!
