my son and i were watching my daughters dog Obi and even though he was in our fenced yard (we have it reinforced to prevent a smaller dog from getting out) he somehow got out and we can't find him. My daughter is devasted and my son and i are doing all we can to help find the dog

He is still missing. If you live in the area and have any hiding spaces in your yard, please check! He did not come from the Humane Society (or Omaha), so I don’t think he would attempt to find his way there.

Notify Nebraska Humane Society and file a lost report. Hope he is microchipped. He is probably trying to find his way home. Put owner’s dirty clothes in home yard and also in mother’s yard And in garages with water and bed. Leave garage doors open enough he can get in. Also be sure yard gates are open so he can get in. If no garage, put items near house doors open pup uses. Have someone at each home keeping watch for pup. Sending positive thoughts that you are soon reunited.
