Message from Owner

We are at Extended Stay temporarily. We take Timmy out in a harness. On Sun 8/29, something spooked him and he got out of his harness; he jumped the wall between Extended Stay and the Elks Lodge. We have been out frequently, calling for him and putting food out. We have been all around Extended Stay, Elks Lodge, and the surrounding neighborhood, and are posting flyers today 8/31. Timmy is very sweet and we miss him terribly. He is neutered so may be vulnerable to ferals and aggressive toms.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

I love him! He looks so angsty and angelic at the same time. I hope you find him soon. Set some alarms throughout the day to go outside and just hangout and be available for him. Call for him, like Carrie said.. especially when it's quiet.. when my cats have gotten out... They usually come home between 6pm - 10pm, and if they decide to tough it out, they come home around 7am or earlier. My cats have a habit of cycling through the yard in phases every 1-2 hours, I am always in and out and we will casually bump into each other.. or I'll walk out the door and it's like they were waiting for me to come out. Unfamiliar area, he doesn't know where to go.. most likely hiding underneath a bush, a car... Whatever.. when it's quiet and darker, they feel safer to come out. Just be available. ❤️

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
