Michelle Johnson the dog wasnt “left at the pound” their owner went to jail and was given false information from arresting officers stating if she fills out certain paperwork she can get her dog back when she is released.

They usually go to the pound initially to be taken care of. From there, if not claimed by owner, they go to a rescue organization to be adopted out.

The cops should be able to tell you what place they dropped her off at they know when you were picked up & can sure look back at their own paperwork.
