Rex isn’t “just a cat” to me. He is my boy, my little shadow, my comfort, and one of those once-in-a-lifetime animals that somehow knows you better than most people do. Rex and I have our own little bond, our own routines, and even our own secrets. ❤️ He has been there for conversations no one else has heard, tears no one else has seen, and countless ordinary moments that I never realized could mean so much until he wasn’t here. Our home does not feel like our home without him. I keep looking for him in all of his usual places and hoping every little sound is him coming back. We love and miss him more than I can possibly put into words. Please, if you see an orange tabby that could possibly be Rex, even if you aren’t completely sure, take a picture if you can and contact me. And please check your garages, sheds, porches, cameras, bushes, and anywhere a scared cat could hide. One small effort could be the thing that brings our boy home. Someone out there may have seen him without realizing just how desperately someone is looking for him. Please help us bring Rex home. ❤️
