Please help spread the word about this found cat. Cat was found on September 5, 2026 in Newport, KY near 7th and Monroe. I've been seeing this cat for awhile now at all hours of the day and night. Recently she has been visiting to annihilate my catnip plant. And to visit my cats through the window. She is very skinny. But wears a collar with a bell and vet tags. She typically runs away the second I open the door. I've started feeding her so If I have food she hesitantly stays on the porch but still doesn't trust me so I cant read the tags on her collar. When I put food and water out she eats like she is going to the electric chair. I feel like if she was someone's pet and they were letting her out to roam, then I wouldn't be seeing her round the clock. She's been here all day since early this morning. And I see her in the middle of the night as well. And it seems she has set up residence under my deck.
