Message from Finder
I sat with this dog for nearly three hours trying to find help. He had no collar, sweet as can be, I gave him Water. Had him lay with me in the shade, soaked his fur to keep him cooler, locals said he had been roaming the area for over an hour and they were scared for their kids. Animal control apparently only had one driver and it was going to be a further 2-3hr wait. I’m not from the area and had my dog in the car with me and no AC. So sitting standstill for that long wasn’t an option for me. I called district seven non emergency and they sent dispatch out. I tied him up behind a blue hse on the south side of 40th and Vienna. I believe the address was 3934? I gave it to dispatch and left the poor boy with food and water and the neighbor told me she would keep an eye on him to make sure he was alright. I pray this baby gets home or at the least. Somewhere safe…
