Just spotted a stray little white dog. Looked APPROXIMATELY like photo. It's NOT the EXACT PHOTO. I couldn't get out there fast enough to take a photo. Corner of Lazurite and Korite, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. I put water out for it in case it returns. It's over 110 degrees. I put water out for it, in case it comes back.

🚨RSM ALERT: Do not try to catch this pup or call out, or even chase. It’s likely not A DOG IN FLIGHT, just yet. This dog likely wandered from home; it lives close to location seen. 🩷 Pup will trot back home safely if not approached and in flight mode. It will still recognize its owner’s face and voice immediately. A wandering dog not yet in flight mode is significantly safer than a dog, in flight.

Mission Viejo Animal Shelter covers this location and Animal Services Officers are on duty from 7 am to 10 pm to respond to the following calls for service: stray dogs running loose, found animals for pick-up, and deceased animals. Please call their main phone line (949-470-3045) and press 2 to leave a message and an Officer will respond as soon as possible.
