Please I just got a phone I was put in jail for being a a dock I didn't know I wasn't supposed to go to she was in my room I was going to get her a treat she was in my room when the police arrested me I told him that I had her there but they did not care now I don't know where she's at and I'm looking for her I've had her for 4 years she's everything to me I begged him don't do it then I had to get back to her and I just want her back please my name is Lori I'm her mom

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure after 3 days of non claiming dogs are put up for adoption. Sometimes people have their photo taken with their new rescue pet at the shelters so may be an idea to look through the local ones websites

Technically, you’re supposed to be served a confiscation notice before you go to jail. Check all shelters. She is legally yours. It used to be law enforcement would take all of them to Halifax Humane Society, but in 2024, each agency was given a designated shelter to take them to. So unfortunately, you’ll have to check all of them unless you know which one the agency was assigned to.
