🚨 MISSING CAT – PLEASE HELP US BRING MAUI HOME 💔 Our beloved Maui has been missing for 5 days, and we are absolutely heartbroken. 🧡 5 years old 🤍 Ginger and white 🐾 Three-legged cat (very distinctive) Last seen near 113 Street NW & 167B Avenue NW, Edmonton. Maui is likely very scared and may be hiding rather than wandering. Please check your garages, sheds, under decks, bushes, window wells, and any sheltered places around your home. He may not come when called, even if he hears you. If you have seen Maui, or think you may have seen him, please send me a private message. Even the smallest sighting could help bring him home. 💰 A reward is being offered for his safe return. Please share this post with your friends and local Edmonton groups. Every share gives Maui a better chance of finding his way back to us. We miss him terribly and just want him home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️🐾

*Keep trying what's listed....All the best in your beautiful cat's return,~💜💜 **Cats that get outside, they tend to panic & hide, usually close to home. When it's dark out, go outside with a flashlight or headlamp & look under every bush, vehicles anything they might go to for safety around your home. Watch for their Eyes to light up with the beam of the flashlight. Let neighbors know, they sometimes will get locked in an open shed & Put posters up. Leave out some bedding/clothing of theirs & yours, but NOT the litter box. Going out with a bag of treats OR whatever your cat loves to eat... calling their name. IF at all possible to leave a window or door open, when it's quiet many have come back. Continue looking & calling. The cat is scared & hiding & may have been chased. REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT If possible consider building a Catio - so much safer for kitties who like the sights/smells of outdoors. attached is one website to build, there are many - google or fb has many showing how to build one. https://thefurbearers.com/.../catio-season-why-cat.../

Litter box out with dirty litter and worn clothes the more you've sweat in them the better. This helps them track a scent which may help lead them home. This method saved my male cat after he had escaped and been gone for 3 days and my area is coyote infested.

Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=388310901737884
