🚨🚨🚨 Make copies of what is written and publish it in all Arab and foreign international associations.. Go to the associations’ pages and post them with comments on each post. Help me, army of mercy and kindness 🚨🚨🚨 A threat to 2,700 souls.. Preventing the construction of a water basin to water stray dogs in “Al-Safawi” raises grievances The decisions of government agencies in the Al-Safawi area of Mafraq Governorate raised widespread concerns and complaints among those in charge of the “Jordanian Environmental Ensemble Association,” after preventing them from establishing a miniature water basin within the area in which they are located, a decision that could cause a humanitarian disaster and the death of large numbers of them from thirst in the heart of the desert. In the details provided to Balki News, the association relies on the self-efforts and personal donations of its members to manage and implement operations to shelter and protect huge numbers of stray dogs. These dogs were thrown into the desert by several parties to die of hunger and thirst. The number of these dogs amounts to more than 2,700 dogs in the desert, in a remote area more than 10 kilometers away from the population centers and residential neighborhoods in Al-Safawi, in order to ensure public safety and not disturb the people. With the aim of providing the animals with the minimum necessities of life in light of the high temperatures, the association’s team began today to create a simple water basin with a height not exceeding 15 cm to enable dogs to drink and provide water that is led to them daily through custom-made tanks. However, those in charge of the initiative were surprised by a decision from official government agencies in the region that prevents the completion of the basin and forces them to sign an official pledge to remove it immediately, which puts the fate of two thousand and seven hundred souls at stake and they face the danger of certain death from thirst. The members of the association and those concerned with animal welfare and the environment appealed to the concerned authorities and officials to intervene urgently to stop the removal decision, and to provide the necessary facilities for such civil initiatives that would solve the problem of stray dogs away from the families of the region and with a national and humanitarian effort that requires support and support, not restrictions.
