Message from Owner

My sister's sweet cat Florence got out while maintenance was visiting her apmt. She's beside herself as Flo was her baby and they absolutely adore each other. Flo is a little shy, but she's very sweet. Please help us find her!

You can upload a clear photo of Flo to petcolove.org, Petco’s free Love Lost database. It uses facial recognition to help pet owners check shelters, vets and found-pet posts for possible matches. The AI looks at eye shape, markings, whiskers and tails. Since 2021, it’s helped reunite 250,000 pets with their people! Check back regularly for matches because more lost and found pets are added daily. If you haven’t yet, also consider posting on places like Ring and Nextdoor, and going door to door with flyers so anyone who sees her will know she’s lost and hopefully return her.

My indoor only male black cat got out once. We put out all the scents. Old blankets, our unwashed clothes, his scratch post, his empty dirty litter box, vacuum dust etc. My nextdoor neighbor would see him trying to return during the day while we were at work. Then get scared and run off into nearby woods. I started setting my alarm for 3am while it was quiet and go out calling him. Finally after 5 days I heard him crying in very thick bushes Nextdoor to our house. I saw his eyes with my flashlight. I had to literally crawl to get him. He was like afraid to move. I finally got him . They usually don’t travel far. They will hunker down close by.
