🚨 URGENT — PLEASE HELP US FIND OUR KITTEN 🚨 N11 / Arnos Grove / Friern Barnet / Whitmore Close area Our beloved little male kitten(melo) 8,9 weeks was last seen in our garden on Wednesday afternoon, 30th of September . By the evening, he had completely disappeared. He was alone in the garden at the time. Normally, whenever he is left alone, he starts crying and will sit on top of the garden wall, almost as if he is calling for us. He is the loveliest, most affectionate little kitten and he has always been very friendly with people. In the past, we have actually had people come to our door because they had seen him and felt sorry for him when he was crying. He is very much like a little baby and people naturally fall in love with him. We know our garden and our kitten very well, and we do not believe he could have simply jumped over the fence and disappeared. We also noticed that a brick had fallen inside the garden, which is very unusual and makes us concerned that somebody may have entered the garden. Behind the brick fence there is also what looks like a wooden ladder, which could potentially provide access. Because of this, we are extremely worried that someone may have taken him because they liked him, rather than him simply wandering away. PLEASE READ — THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT Two days after he disappeared, we were told that a lady had apparently gone to Pets at Home in Friern Barnet, saying that she had found a kitten in a bin behind our garden, near the bus station. According to what we were told, the lady said she wanted to keep the kitten and did not want to give him back. We were also told that the Pets at Home receptionist explained that she could not simply keep a found animal and that she should make a post/report to try to locate the owner. Apparently, she did not make the post herself. Instead, a neighbour posted online saying that a kitten had been found. We found that post and contacted the neighbour. She told us that she was not the person who found the kitten and that her neighbour had found him. We asked if we could have the neighbour’s contact details so that we could speak to her and, most importantly, see the kitten ourselves to establish whether he is our missing baby. Since then, unfortunately, we have not been able to get a response. We have tried contacting Pets at Home for help and have been past around and told that staff don’t remember the circumstances or were not working at the time. We have also contacted the police, but at the moment we have not been able to get the help we need to establish what happened or obtain any CCTV. We are not trying to accuse anybody without proof. We simply want the opportunity to see the kitten that was reportedly found and determine whether he is ours. 🙏 PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE SEEN HIM OR HAVE HIM, CONTACT US.6 If you have found a kitten matching the photographs, or you know someone who has recently taken in a small black-and-white male kitten, please contact us. Even if you are not sure whether he is ours, please let us see him. We can come to you. We just want our kitten back. ❤️ He is still in the N11 / Arnos Grove / Friern Barnet / Whitmore Close area, and we strongly believe that someone may have him. Our children keep asking where their little kitten is. He was part of our family and we miss him terribly. PLEASE SHARE THIS AS WIDELY AS POSSIBLE. Someone may have seen him. Someone may have taken him in thinking he was lost. Someone may know where he is. We are not looking for trouble or confrontation. We only want to see our kitten and bring him home safely. 🙏 PLEASE HELP US BRING OUR BABY HOME. ❤️🐾 If you have a kitten that looks like the one in these photographs, PLEASE contact us, even if you think there is only a small chance it could be him.
