Message from Finder

Hello! I found this female dog wandering alone in the rain in the target parking lot near 880 E Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32809. I had her scanned for a microchip but unfortunately no chip was found. She is such a sweet girl and seems to have been very well taken care of (evidence of having been groomed, nail trim), she is potty trained and was very comfortable in a car. She was also very calmwhen I bathed her, cut/ removed all matted hair/debris on her coat/paws, and dried her. I’m hoping someone recognizes her and we can get her back home💌

She sure looks comfy in this pic! Can you contact groomers in the area to see if they recognize her?

She is likely someone's pet. And therefore, they will be looking for her at animal services. If she was dumped, then somebody will have the opportunity to adopt her, including yourself after the mandatory hold of 3 to 5 days. If you are interested in adopting her, you can submit an application at the county and obtain her control number. So you can monitor her progress. If you do keep her, please make sure she is fixed and has all of her shots and that she is no longer allowed outside by herself.

I think this dog is listed as LOST on Seminole County page. Not actual post. Sample for name.

Tomorrow, please call 407-836-3111, press # and file a found dog report, as required by county law. Post flyers all over the area. Not everyone has social media. Please be sure to only return it to an owner with lots of proof!!! PLEASE do not let someone "foster" it. Rarely do they continue to look for an owner. Lastly, there may be a woman who reaches out to you through messages. She will say she's with VIP Rescue and offer to take the dog. She is on a do not adopt list AND banned by our county shelter (thats pretty hard to do!!) PLEASE DO NOT GIVE HER THE DOG!! It will never find its way home.
