Message from Owner

Skip went missing from Niceville Animal Clinic where I boarded her while out of town. First time boarding as we have a pet sitter. She had a bad respiratory infection about 21/2 weeks earlier and was ok but I wanted to make sure if there were any problems she would be taken care of. That is why I unfortunately boarded her at that clinic.

For missing cats 1. Put a litter box outside with a pile of clothes that has your smell on it or a familiar smell. 2. Go to youtu.be Search for Mama cat calling her kittens Play this sound everywhere you look at 3.The ring system has a tab where you can post lost and found pets. Not everyone is in these groups. A neighbors camera could have seen something. Lately cats have been getting dumped. 4. Also post in all the animal 850 Facebook groups and non pet groups. Someone could have seen your pet and aren't in the pet groups. Post on nextdoor.com. Check with neighbors. Some dont like cats and will trap them and relocate them. Check with all shelters 5. Post pawboost Not just missing pets LORD PLEASE SEND OUT YOUR ANGELS TO GUIDE THIS FUR BABY HOME. IN JESUS NAME AMEN PLEASE KEEP PRAYING GOD please send out YOUR ANGELS to guide this sweet dog home. Please keep him safe and fed during his travels. Please GOD, pets are like kids. His family misses him

Crestview Animal Services Missing Cats Where are the cats? AN OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION NEEDS TO BE DONE This has to be stopped. Animal Services needs to account for 165 cats the city manager said they rescued. I have the email she sent me. People need to be the voice for their pets. People should be flooding the city manager with calls and emails. If not, the neglect and dismissive attitude will continue. Taxpayers have a right to know. SPEAK UP FOR YOUR PET GOD COUNTS THEIR TEARS When people call in asking for help with a cat, they're told animal services only comes out if the cat is hurt. I emailed the city manager asking why do they only come out when the cat is hurt. In direct answer to your questions: Are they taken to a vet clinic for treatment and a chance at recovery-Yes, if an animal in our care is in need of medical attention it is taken to the vet. Where are these cats currently being housed? We currently operate out of a facility in Crestview and a facility in the Laurel Hill area. Her reply was they help all animals. She also said. "Quote" We do have a TNR program and this calendar year alone have TNR’d over 165 cats and facilitated 100 cat adoptions. I responded asking where are the 165 cats. It took her 3 weeks to answer my email. She said they post animals they take in on thier lost and found. The website shows many dogs, a few kittens and very few cats. The city manager can't account for 165 rescued cats. So where are the cats. People's cats could have been picked up. I've also received messages from my post that neighbors who don't like cats have been trapping them and relocating them. Animal Services received a 100k donation from the Sikes and Chimiak families for a larger shelter. People have called asking if the new shelter will help the feral and stray cats. They were told no, and that the cats can continue to live outside.
