Chloe is only 5 or maybe 6 years old, but she had bonded with me after being feral for the first 3 or 4 years of her life and she is my precious baby that are like my children. I'm old I'm a widow and my 2 cats bring me joy everyday and it breaks my heart if something bad has happened to her. If you find her she might not be easy to get since she doesn't like picked up but she's very affectionate and will love being pet. She's very shy and will hide for a long time if she's scared. I've had her 2 years now and she looks at me like she can't believe how lucky she is to have me taking care of her. I miss her terribly, she normally spends most of the day inside with me. She just wants loved and attention and I thought she was going to outlive me. I'd rather someone have her and take care of her than anything bad happen because she's a good kitty and a good hunter and jumper. She's just so sweet and loves to stay clean. She has a collar on with my name and phone # and she's also microchipped. So please take her to the shelter or you can contact me directly. But they or a Vet can scan her to show I'm her human. I know she misses us, her buddy Casper and me. She was settling in so nicely and now part of my family is gone and I don't know where to even look, let alone think I could find her. My phone # is. I don't know what happened to her, but she did have a collar on that had my phone number and name and she's microchipped. I do know she lost her collar because someone found it and left it on my porch, but I don't know who it was or where it was taken off. She's good at getting them off when they bother her too much. For most of the time she keeps it on, and she didn't usually wander too far away. She would know how to get back home. She's usually at home with me in the daytime and she disappeared right before I was ready to feed them. She and Casper are always in the kitchen waiting, but she decided to go outside which she like to do before eating to run around a bit to get her appetite I think. But she hasn't been seen since then. She is usually good about hiding and has several places they hide where they feel safe. I was always calling to them when I didn't see them nearby so they would stick around home and they usually came to get a treat. She's been able to go in and out for over 2 years even if she was feral before, she turned into a homebody kitty and was always following me around and taking naps with me. She required my attention so much, my other cat got jealous of all the attention she got. It's hard for me to just walk around the neighborhood. I have neuropathy in my feet, legs and hands and walking is difficult around here since it's all hills. Steep hills. And I did go around at few days by driving my truck up the hill. She would recognize the sound of it because whenever I came home they were waiting at the front door for me. I'm just sick over this and feel like such a failure for her disapperance. I know she loved it here and I just don't think she's alive or she would have come home. I don't believe she was involved in a car accident, she was pretty cautious about staying off the roads which are more like driveways here. She usually wander through other properties and stay away from the roads. They were more interested in hunting mice or birds or lizards and small snakes. Just a few of the gifts they would bring home, and most were still alive and I could put them back outdoors where they wouldn't get tortured by my kitties. Birds usually flew away and I still haven't found the mouse in the house. But I think it found a way outside through a plate that had cable wires but wasn't being used anymore, because the cats weould just stare at it waiting for the mouse to come out. But I closed it off and that was the last we saw of the mouse in the house. Anyway, thanks for the tips on what to do. She knows where her food is I'm just afraid because they just laid gravel over our large driveway and parking area that it might have covered up her scent or she got really spooked when the work started and it's been on going for about 2 or 3 weeks. So I guess I'll do a little more house to house and see if anyone has seen her or allowed to stay with them. It's all too hard for me to do sometimes because the more I do the more I think about her and feel so lousy and guilty it's difficult for me to think I'll never see her again. 😢

walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
