Message from Owner

Rex is my 9 year old cat, he’s never been away from home for longer than an hour. It’s now coming up to four days and with this heat I’m extremely sick to my stomach. We have tried all techniques to attract him back, even boiling cat food and tuna for hours with the window wide open to give him a trail. Please if anyone sees him in their back yard or garden contact me on6 and we will come and get him. Thanks very much in advance

You may have done some of this already, but if not, it might be worth putting some leaflets with a photo through the doors of houses/flats in nearby roads to home. Many people don’t walk around their local area and some don’t go out a great deal so they might not realise a visiting cat in their garden is a missing one. Plus, posters at the railway stations, bus stops, and newsagents. A poster at the station worked for me. Mine was found after 10 days, so don’t give up hope. Also if you have any used cat litter, (or bedding), spread bits of it around your borders outside, (not the tray). Cats can pick up their scent from some distance. I hope your cat is back home with you soon.🙏🤞🐾

You need to knock doors and look in empty properties not everyone is on social media many lost cats are found locked in garages/ sheds
