You may want to contact the chip company and temporarily change that info to your name. File online lost reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Check Craigslist lost and found and pets for sale ads. Keep checking shelters online and in person.

If you know the chip company you need a report missing to them and ask if there if you can change the phone number, You need to edit this post and put your number in it and in every single post put MISSING with date,time,year escaped,put in DelPasoHeights/North Sacramento,with nearest cross streets, And best numbers to go to any potential spottings or somebody willing for you day or night it's crititical. Make sure you put on the next door app and neighbors ring app daily so nobody forgets. Post to DelPaso Heights/ North Sacramento Lost and found pets Facebook Group.File lost report with Frontstreet shelter when lost in City of Sacramento and not Sacramento County.Your responsibility to look at Frontstreet shelter website daily. They start updating around noon several times a day when the public can start bringing them in until 500pm.. You're gonna have to go in there every other day or 2 speak with them every time you go in and show them pictures and tell them microchips but it's under your daughter's name and she's in the pokey.Stay on top of going in because if they can't get a hold of an owner stray hold is over after 3 days and they will put up for adoption. Deceased will not be on the websites.
