Roz Klaiman, Thanks for the info, we have been out every day looking here, there, and everywhere, calling and shaking his treats, Nothin,g not even a sound, he loves to talk a lot.

Go out around 2AM with smelly food or treats and call softly for him. Have neighbors check sheds and garages. Post lots of signs. Also a good idea to stick notes through your neighbour’s door or mailbox for them to check their properties.

Shared. Note that TWO days is a long time to a cat, this is longer. If you have not already done ALL these things do them ASAP. Advise Toronto Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Also notify nearby vet offices, rescues, shelters (e.g. SPCA/Humane Society) and the microchip company if he's chipped. Note that intact males can travel long distances in search of females in heat and have trouble finding their way back home. Alert local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for 2-3 days before wandering for food. IN case he may still come around leave some food and water in hidden places near that door and check now and in the evening. Check all nearby dark, shaded areas under bushes, shrubs and trees and places where he can shelter if injured or scared now and in the morning. Check under decks, in window wells and dark corners of porches, yards, garages, sheds and stairwells where he could be hiding or might be trapped. Thump the hoods and fenders of nearby parked cars in case he's hiding in a wheel well or engine compartment. Ask nearby (5-10 block radius) neighbours to do the same and to check their porches, garages, sheds and yards where he could hide or may be trapped. See Pawboost and check their website for found cats and for search and find suggestions as well as sample posters. Post notices in a 5+ block radius. Include outbuildings and construction sites. Put a notice in nearby (5+ block) neighbours' mailboxes. Post on FB lost and found dogs and cats site and on community and local store notice boards. Go out AFTER dark and bring food and treats, walk around a 5+ block area, stop periodically, semi hide and put the food beside you not in your hand and softly call. Listen carefully but do NOT make any loud noises. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owners as safe.
