I know this isn't directly to the owners or anything, but maybe someone who knows them will see it. I also don't want to get anyone's hopes up. But I hunted my Marvin for 10 nights in those same woods, and we got him back healthy and happy. I feel compelled to help. I am going over after work today to check. This is simply too coincidental, it's uncanny. If this happened one month in the future, I would swear time is repeating itself...

So this is going to sound super weird, but bear with me... My wife and I lived in that complex and also had a little tuxxy boy (still do) just shy of a decade ago. He also got out and spent 10 days hiding from us in those small copses of trees between the apartment buildings and the road. There is a garage next to Morgan road(or at least it was a garage 8 years ago) and our boy found his way under the foundation in the back of it. We buried the hole pretty good, but if my boy found it and took it over, maybe this one did too?

Borrow a humane trap. Set it right beside the place that he got out. Put kitties favorite food, treats and sardines in the trap with a trail of juice & sprinkle catnip in the juice, leading out of the trap. Put an article of his favorite human’s unlaundered clothing, over top of the trap. Have his favorite human sit in the spot he got out, at dusk &/or dawn. Talk to him softly like, he was sitting right beside you because, he will not be far away. Gently shake his treat container & take a laser pointer & move it around very slowly so as to peak his curiosity & not scare him away further. Also set trail cams to see if kitty is there. Trap must be monitored at all times. Put up flyers You should also leave a door open at dusk and early morning hours Keep things very quiet Often they'll come back in on their own

Please 🙏 do not stop looking ❤️ drive around looking , knock on your neighbors doors to have them keep an eye out ❤️ put food out, tell maintenance workers ❤️ sending prayers that you find your baby safe and real soon ❤️
