This cat appeared on my back deck today I pulled out cat treats and it came right up to me. Give it some cat food and water as well. Super friendly and affectionate has a clipped left front ear , It’s super friendly, but I won’t be able to take it in my hse.

He has been checked out by a vet and overall in good health- he got his cuts cleaned up and is testing out the indoors now.

Joan Foley I posted him on the warminster community page and looks like others in the neighborhood have seen him and fed him too.

Update: Nobody has claimed his yet. Someone is coming to scan him for a chip tomorrow. I'm still feeding him and he has plenty of shelter and cushions, food and water outside and I sit with him and keep him company for a few hours every evening after work. Since I posted this yesterday on Pawboost and the Warminster Community page I've learned he has been around the neighborhood to many people's houses who then also posted him to look for an owner. He does have a small sore on his one leg. I contacted the spca to see if they had reasonable costs to do a check up and they referred me to 2 other places. I was able to get an appt with one in 2 weeks (that's the soonest). Maybe someone will claim him by then, but we will see. Thanks for all the tips from everyone.

He almost looks like my Gizmo. Hopefully the owner will be found soon.

Found Cat Please make a report with Animal Control in case the owner is looking for their kitty. Take to any vet to check for a chip to find the family. Walk the neighborhood with a picture to see if anyone recognizes him/her. Ask the mail carriers also. Try posting on local social media groups in your area. If you can, you could try flyers around the neighborhood where found. Pawboost helps! Ask for PROOF of ownership, like pictures on their phone, pet insurance sites and vet records. Good Luck and thanks for helping that baby 😇 🙏

Lynette McDonnell Mahon yes, it’s usually done on indoor/outdoor cats or even outdoor cats simply to show they’ve already been spayed/neutered in the event someone does TNR in the area, or even to just let neighbors know the cat is already fixed & likely received vaccines. I volunteer at a low cost clinic in post-op recovery & many people choose to do this, or even a tattoo mark on the belly of spayed females. The cats are often friendly cats, not necessarily feral.
