Missing my 10 yr old beautiful chunky boy. He is always waiting for breakfast on my deck and haven’t seen him in 2 days. Fearing the worst and am brokenhearted.

This cat was found near Genesee. Could this be him? Here's the link to the lady that posted about him on the Nextdoor app https://nextdoor.com/profile/01DrzzZXfzWK78r_F/?is=feed_author

Find lost cat Put smelly wet food into a Hav-a-hart trap outside. These traps work really well, check it OFTEN! Humane traps are one of your best ways to get them back. At night shine a flashlight into and under shrubs in the area, you may catch reflection of their eyes. Check sheds, garages, under cars, anyplace they could hide or be stuck. Get your neighbors to open their garages, sheds, etc. Sometimes folks only go into their garage or shed once a week or every 2 weeks, if your cat ran in there out of fear while the door was open and then the door closes, they are stuck. Put up flyers, especially at vet offices. Talk to neighbors, ask if they have security cameras that may catch them walking by. They tend to move early morning and evenings. Put out used human worn clothes, familiar smells help bring them in. Do not put used litter out as it attracts other cats and creatures that can scare off your cat. If possible, leave a patio or garage door open so he can get in. Contact rescues & county shelters. Physically check shelters often, they are busy, phone calls may not be sufficient. Your cat will be very scared & may go into survival mode, she may not respond to you. Some wait until they're starving to come out for food. Keep food/trap out & check OFTEN. Start NOW and Don't give up!
