Description

Older longer haired ORANGE cat with red leather collar with bell on it. Very friendly!! Found on Pine Grove road by Chambersburg Pa, couple miles from Caledonia State Park. Litter box trained and loves my 2 year old daughter. No microchip.

Found this cat by my car as I was leaving my dad’s hse. Skin and bones, seemed like it was lost for a while. Took it to the vet and has no microchip. It is litter box trained so I know it was an inside cat. Or at least inside/outside. Very friendly and acted like it wanted help. It has a collar on but no description of its name or owner. Inside now with food and water but refuses to eat.

I wonder if he got away from someone camping. You could also see if he would drink some kitten formula. That would be packed with nutrients.

Oh my gosh, that poor thing. Maybe he got trapped somewhere for a while? I have some appetite stimulant for cats. Would you like to try that to see if you can get him to start eating? I do not spend much time on FB, so I may not see your reply here but you can send me a DM if you would like to connect. Maybe try some baby food?

Probably dehydrated and on the older side. Lots of fresh water and probably some wet food (softer for older teeth). Thank you for taking care of him/her til owners are found 🫶🏼

He sure is beautiful and looks like my garage cat that I took in my garage about 3 years ago! I sure hope he makes it home. He could be just an outdoor cat that runs the neighborhood Thank you for looking after him 🥰

Awww, poor kitty. He is either stressed or ill. He should be very hungry if he was out on his own. You didn't mention if you tried wet food or licky treats. If he refuses that, he needs a vet visit.
