I would check out every lead, even if not in the immediate area. I’ve lost pets and they were found in neighboring area. Anything possible, someone could have found, adopted them, found them a home or they were lost, were stolen, etc…. Better to be safe, sure; anything is possible.

Iris Wadkins The owner has come forward she's been posting about her lost dog and she would love to have her dog returned to her The dog does not need to have another home because he has a home waiting for him.

Cheryl Kidd I had that happen to me and my family on both sides of the coin we first found a little Jack Russell probably was about a year year and a half old and we had ended up having him for like 17 years we tried very hard to try to find his owner but never was able to find anyone that he belong to he was not my friend can my kids fell in love with them and we did keep him because we felt he needed home we did not want to take him to a shelter or pound or anything but we did diligently try to find his owner and was not able to but then later years I had a little Yorkie terrier and she got out to my fence and came up missing and we never found her.

Carmen Rossi it is so sad because it's not only painful for the people who own him and heartbreaking but it is also very stressful and painful and heartbreaking for the pet , they miss their people . That's what makes it so sad when some people give their pets up to shelters because the pet does not understand .

Lisa Smith the one at the shelter looks pretty close to him but since that's an animal control place they do not keep them for very long I would get a move on and try to see if that's your dog or not. And I hope it is your little Oreo so that you can get him back !!!

Terrie Spehar Nordness especially check shelters and dog pounds and stuff like that because if your dog happens to end up there and does not have a microchip it may end up getting euthanized

Lori Lambert even though that's a cute little doggie and I hope it finds a home that's not the right dog because the Oreo has black over both of his eyes not just one !!!

Is he microchipped ? Just wondering because many years ago we found a dog and he was not microchipped we put up flyers and a little ad trying to see if we could find this owner and never did So my children ask if they could keep them and we did and we had it for like 17 years . The reason I am mentioning this is because just about 5 years ago I had a little dog and she came up missing and I have not been able to find her so I know you're pain but a lot of times if they're not microchipped then you have a hard time being able to recover them. Especially when there is cute as Oreo He looks like a very very nice dog , I know you're high broken My heart goes out to you and I will say a prayer for you that you find Oreo soon safe and sound.
