Is your cat wearing a collar? There is a cat behind the Safari Motel (down alley) that looks like yours. I couldn't catch it. It is behind the gate behind the Safari Motel. It has a white collar with a bell hanging.

WHEN YOU FIND OR LOSE A PET: Post on Pawboost.com, the national database that veterinarians use when an injured or stray animal is brought into their office. Notify Paws Patrol LV - Text or call: 725-331-3319 or Email: Pawspatrollv@gmail.com. Say the cross streets and the location where the animal was found or lost. Leave a message. They are volunteers and are excellent at what they do. Notify The Animal Foundation 655 N Mojave Road, Las Vegas, NV Phone: (702) 955-5932 ext. 932 Email: lostandfound@animalfoundation.com The Animal Foundation is the facility to which the Owner first will be directed to search for their pet. The Animal Foundation is the central clearing house for lost and found pets. After notifying The Animal Foundation that you have a FOUND pet, house the pet in your home for a short time, if possible, until the Owner is located. Post on two very important websites: Post on Petcolove.com - https://petcolove.org/lost/create-account/start/name/ And Pawboost.com There are many "moving parts" to reconnect a lost pet with the Owner. Ideally, the Owner will be aware to look on the national database: Pawboost.com. Ideally, the Finder will be aware to post the found pet on Pawboost.com. Not everyone is on Nextdoor. Sometimes the FINDER takes the "Found" pet to one of the nearly one hundred rescues in Las Vegas. This leaves the Owner in a puzzle of where to look for their pet. Suppose that the pet Owner is visiting from out of town and loses their pet? How would they know where to look? Therefore, by notifying The Animal Foundation and PawPatrolLV, the chances are greatly increased for the Owner and their pet to be reunited.

If she is an indoor only cat she will not go far. She is hiding close by and will be elusive. Walk up and down your neighborhood while shaking your favorite bag of food or treats or whatever brings your kitty running to you at all times of morning , day and night. You may also want to consider using one of those toy laser lights at night to bring your cat out of hiding. Knock on neighbor’s doors and give them a good contact number in case they see her. Very important in case they are stuck in a garage or shed or God forbid even hurt. Not everyone will see your fliers and post. If you have a garage or front door, leave it cracked open just enough for kitty and leave bedding or clothing that has your scent, also leave food and water, but be aware of predators. Remember in most cases, she will be close by, so don’t give up and keep looking. You may want to consider borrowing or buying a humane trap. Be persistent and consistent and most importantly, Don’t Stop Looking! Not all cats will just show up at your door. It took us over a month to get our kitty home with the help of neighbors. God Bless you and your fur babies. Be aware of scammers. They ask for number codes and money.
