I lost my cockatiel today , I was holding him outside showing him to my neighbor and he flew away . It’s only been 3 1/2 months that he’s been with us . Since my chihuahua past after 16 years on January 1st , i was devastated and my boyfriend got me cashew as a gift and I have since fallen in love with him and we just started bonding! Miss him already please help!!

Louisa Gonzalez thank you so much for your quick response and your help. I have left one of his cages outside in the yard and I will bring posters to vet and pet shop tomorrow morning after I search for him. Thank you much appreciated!

Please put his cage outside on the balcony with the door open and his favorite food and water in it. Towards early sunset or sunrise, go outside and call out his name for several minutes. Put out posters with his picture and info around the neighborhood and in pet food stores. Call the veterinarian in your area and bring some posters to them. Sometimes people bring birds there to see if they are healthy. Call the city and find out where they bring strays they find. Go in PERSON to the SPCA and Berger Blanc. Also look on their website. Calling them IS NOT enough you have to go in PERSON and often. Check the posts on Pawboost as well. People post animals they have found. Hope this helps. Hope he comes home soon.
