If chipped make sure owner contact info is current with chip company. File online lost reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Check Craigslist lost and found and pets for sale ads. Keep checking shelters online and in person.

I'm sorry To your great-granddaughter because everybody's aware adults are the responsible party...Need to put on Nextdoor App and Neighborsring App daily so nobody forgets.Put on South Sacramento Lost and found pets Facebook Group.PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY to Look at shelter websites every single day they update several times starting at 1200 when the public can bring them in.... He went missing before I have no clue why you would allow this to happen again..... I hope for his sake and your great-granddaughter's sake you find him safe and sound.... Should have been a learning lesson from the first time or second or third could be for all I know...PARENTS Responsibility to not rely on the microchip and anybody calling you and to get into the shelters every other day or 2 speak with them each time you're there and show pictures every time, even if takes months.Ask them to look up chip ID every time.Deceased not on websites.
