this kitty is so sweet and super clean to be a stray! saw yesterday and attempted to feed today but he just wanted to come home

Shared. Please secure the kitty if you haven't done it yet. A microchip scan is a very good idea; any vet can do it. Some pet stores can scan as well. Usually done at no cost.Call ahead to verify and schedule if they require it. Post the kitty on Nextdoor as well and check for updates on both websites. Also check the lists of missing kitties on the websites. Go back a bit to make sure you don't miss the post. Not everyone checks social media, post flyers in the area. Include veterinary offices and pet stores when you post the flyers. Ask for proof when someone contacts you to claim the kitty, and pay very close attention to the kitty's reaction to the person.
