Message from Owner

Our baby boy Gunnar is still missing. He is a very large orange and white cat who got out 10/23 or 10/24. We're hoping he's still near the Brookview cndmniums behind Donatos in Pickerington. He's an indoor cat so he's probably scared and hiding. If you see him please pick him up if possible and keep him safe till we can get there. He is orange on top then mostly white on his underbelly, paws and part of his face. We love him dearly and appreciate any help you can give. Posted on Facebook, Pickerington peeps, pet FBI, nextdoor, and put up flyers locally. If you have any other suggestions let us know. Thanks!!

You might try a live trap, they are fairly cheap on amazon, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street and wouldnt let anyone near her. I saw she kept coming around the doors at night and if i didnt have other pets, i would have left the door cracked and that may have solved it. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often, check it often no matter what the weather is. In fact, best to keep a camera on it. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope
