As the owner of a 16 week old puppy (Brittney) myself I cannot imagine. Count your lucky stars and never rely on GPS collars alone until you can get that recall down. Check cord to give her a little freedom. Also, get her chipped immediately. Mine was chipped 2 weeks ago and didn’t even notice. As you now know, they don’t wait until they’re spayed (since some don’t chip before then) before going for adventures and while a chip won’t locate her, it’ll prove ownership and reunite quicker if she’s missing goes missing and is picked up.

Owner: Please NEVER let this sweet puppy out without you. Too many dangers for one so small… streets/cars, foxes, coyotes, hawks, eagles, dogs, etc.
