Finder said this about this sweet dog found on 264/ Gardners School Rd. ♦♦PER THE FINDER: This dog was extremely friendly and affectionate! He did good in the car. Here is the shelter's pic of this dog. He has been named Birdie and is about 53 lbs.

Lost and Found Dogs of Wilson, NC Yes, that appears to be him. He was on the middle of Interstate 587 westbound. Coordinates are 35.671782,-77.786565. Close to Gardners School Road.

We're the ones who found him and picked him up. I'm sorry to hear that people have low confidence in the Wilson County animal shelter. He is now listed there under the name Birdie (https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/49245470-wilson-north-carolina-american-pit-bull-terrier). I hope someone considers adopting him. He seemed super sweet and friendly.
