I NEED COMMUNITY HELP!! 2.5 years ago I let a neighbor adopt a kitten I had rescued on the condition that if they, for what ever reason and none was needed, that if they couldn't or didn't want to take care of her anymore they'd give her back to me. Well, I discovered that they were moving out one day and offered to keep Knuckies at my place while they moved so she didn't escape. Y'all, when this lady turned and told me that they took her to a shelter that would give her back if they ever wanted her back, I saw red. I tried getting the name of the rescue but they wouldn't give it up. They kept mentioning one in sanford they had her spayed at for free but ever said it's name either. I'm trying to find and re-rescue Knuckies! Please help me!
