Description

She is a dark red/mahogany sable English Shepherd with white collar, chest, 4 white stockings, white muzzle, small white blaze and white tip on her tail. She has an elongated “beauty mark” on the left side of her muzzle. She stands just a little over 21” at the shoulder and just under 50 pounds - very athletic. She was wearing a collar with ID tags. She is also microchipped.

Message from Owner

Roper is a major part of our family & is my agility partner. We just want to have her back again, where she belongs. Her daughter (8 months old) is missing her mother too. She will most likely shy away from strangers, so if spotted, please contact me with that info & we will come get her. Thank you so much for your help!

Rebecca Wingler ugh. After I posted and went back to look I didnt think it was. I wish it was perfect match. Now that I know of Roper I won't stop looking for her. I will keep my eyes WIDE open. Praying she is home soon

We continue to search for Roper & are hoping that someone in the area has seen her over the past few days. Please keep your eyes open for her. We just want to bring her back home.

We are heading into day 6 of Roper being missing. Please keep your eyes open around the Wake Co/Chatham Co line area near Hwy 64. There is a good chance she has moved away from the highway and closer to secondary roads now. Last spotted near the Hwy 64/751 intersection and about a half a mile west of that location. Thank you for any reports of sightings that you might have.

Update 5-30, 7 pm. An actual sighting the day it was reported! Margaret Proctor spoke to a landscaping company located on Hwy 64. One of their delivery drivers saw Roper on 64, but we are not sure where exactly he saw her. Brian is back out on the road this evening, walking it, dropping food and such in hopes that she will start the journey back home. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns! Also had a report from 5-29 that she was on Hwy 64 near 751.

Update 5-28, 10 pm --- Still not back home, however, we did hear of another sighting from yesterday around 3 pm. It appears that Roper is heading west of here into Chatham Co. She was spotted on Olives Chapel Rd heading back past the church. I walked most of that road this afternoon calling for her. I don't know if she is on Tody Goodwin Rd or closer to Jordan lake by now. Please let your friends and neighbors know about the situation.
