Message from Finder
This sweet girl was originally posted here: She was found near Washington and Garfield in Melbourne (off Sarno). The finder wasn’t able to transport her to have her scanned for a microchip, so I picked her up and took her in to be scanned. Unfortunately, she did not have a microchip. I checked lost cat postings for anyone looking for a cat matching her description but couldn’t find a match. I took her to the vet today to get her spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. But after the vet shaved her, they discovered a spay tattoo - so she was already spayed, just never microchipped. The vet estimates her to be around 2 years old. She’s a smaller brown tabby with green eyes, and she is incredibly friendly with people. She walked right into a carrier without any fuss and has been an absolute sweetheart. I'm posting her again in hopes that someone recognizes her or her owner sees this. She clearly had been cared for at some point - I would really love to get her back home if she belongs to someone.
