Message from Owner

Muffers picked me 3 1/2 years ago and showed up in my backyard...she had 2 litters of kittens in the equipment yard, I got them adopted out and got her fixed by TNR. Just the past 6 mos she started getting tamer and was coming inside sometimes. She is still somewhat feral. I went on a 4 day trip and my neighbor was feeding her in my backyard....a bad storm came Monday 9/28 and disoriented her ..she was gone when I got home..I have looked everywhere and she has not come back..I hope that dog catcher did not pick her up

Please, keep her in the house. Acclimate her. Go get her chipped to. She will adjust. She is part of the cat lottery and she picked you for a reason. So glad she is safe.

Mark Fecteau I have done that...she comes in frequently but likes to go out still and stays in the yard..that is what is so puzzling..she never leaves my yard or the equimpent yard behind my house.......I found out they dont pick them up and I called to make sure. I am afraid someone trapped her and took away to dump her elsewhere ....mean neighbor here hates cats....wouldnt put it past her!

And by the way every cat I've ever had has come off the street not all feral but many were and I've always done great in the house once they adjusted

Valerie Hansen if you keep her inside for a while she'll adjust to it it doesn't happen overnight in the more you spoil her the more she'll enjoy being in the house more than likely she's around and the dog catcher or Henderson Animal Control they don't go around picking up animals like that especially cats

Tlc Tanya you are misunderstanding this post...she WAS my cat and lives in my backyard and comes inside my house during the day lots of times. She is STILL feral and it took 3 yrs to get her even a tiny bit tame.. She does NOT like to stay inside as she was raised outside.... THIS IS HER HOME ..she has a bed in my back yard and food. She got freaked out by the storm and took off.
