post on next door, check the lost & found ads on craigslist, look in all the back yards, ask all the kids, look every day for the dog at the animal shelter by you

Contact a dog tracker asap. Post flyers within a three mile radius of where lost. Include contact information. Not everyone is on Facebook. File a Lost report with local police and area shelters. Put out some smelly clothing or bedding for scent. Grill some bacon outside or inside and open the windows. Be very cautious of those saying they have your dog and ask for money. They are scammers. Ask for proof that they have your dog and NEVER give money to anyone saying if they have your dog.
