🚨 Update: Jasper was SIGHTED on July 19, 2026 in Lexington, KY 40508 at Newtown Crossing Apartments. We have seen him but haven't been able to get him. He seems scared and is running off.

Me and my roommate saw an orange cat at Newtown several times today!! We think it is him, and have tried to contact the owner. Hoping we will see him again tomorrow and maybe be able to coax him out??

Please check nearby storm drains and sewer pipes. Vehicle engines and tire wells. Attics, closets, vents, and basements. Garages and sheds. Bushes and trees. Under buildings and porches. In addition to other times, please search outside at dawn and dusk when it's quiet. Using a flashlight may help. Set outside your old clothes so Jasper may detect a familiar scent. Good luck.

If you lost a pet: Visit Lexington-FayetteAnimal Care & Control or your local animal control in person every other day, strays can be adopted out after 3 days for cats, 5 days for dogs. Put flyers everywhere. Post to Lost and Found Pets of Lex Scroll Lost and Found Pets of of Lex and Pawboost for posts about found Ignore suggestions re instagram If its been more than 3 days also need to visit Lex Humane Society daily.
