Message from Owner

Our 6yr old baby Achilles hopped the fence on 10/4 Saturday morning around 6:40AM. He hasn’t come and we can’t locate him. Achilles is very timid and scared. He is not used to being outdoors and is very vulnerable. Please help us find him, happy to provide a reward when he is safely found.

* GOTTA GET THEIR “FAMILIAR / HOME SCENT” OUT THERE !! * My personal experience has been first securing my other indoor-only cat/s in a closed off bedroom (sorry, someone literally told me they could not do this because their other cats would get out), dimming/turning off most or all inside/outside lights and, most importantly (if safe to do so and should be supervised — keep in mind, this takes time and commitment; could take a couple or three nights), leaving doors (especially door/window escaped through) open/ajar in the very early morning. (Cats have a keen wide-ranging/radius sense of smell; therefore, it is so important to get their familiar “home” scents into the airwaves.) Every time, my little escape artist has come bolting through the door between 3:00 — 5:00 AM. (Also have witnessed when he’s escaped and door is closed, he panics and takes off again — therefore, it is important they have a way in once they come out of hiding and make a mad dash for home.) Hopefully, ACHILLES is very close just scared to come out until it’s really dark and really quiet. Prayers for a quick safe return !!🙏🏻
